Damages & Issues
Please inspect your order as soon as it arrives and contact us immediately if your item is defective, damaged, or incorrect so we can resolve it promptly.
How to Submit a Return Request
- Click the profile icon in the store menu, or visit the returns / refund policy page to request a return.
- Enter your email address and click Continue.
- Check your email for your six-digit verification code.
- Return to the store and enter the verification code.
- Click Request return for the order you want to return.
- Select the item or items you want to return.
- Choose a return reason and add a note if needed.
- Click Request return again to confirm.
Every request is reviewed and approved by our team before anything is shipped back. Once approved, you will receive an email with our return address and mailing instructions. You arrange and pay for return postage — we do not provide or pay for return shipping labels. Please use a trackable service, as we cannot refund a package we never receive. Items sent back without an approved return request will not be accepted.
Exceptions / Non-Returnable Items
- Tailored items cannot be returned or exchanged.
- Hijabs, Scarves, Salah Outfits, and Swimsuits
- Gowns can be exchanged or refunded to an Urban Modesty gift card only. Gowns are not refunded to the original form of payment.
- Clearance and Final Sale items are non-returnable and non-exchangeable.
- Items must be unworn, unwashed, with original hang tags, folded in original packaging, and resealable.
- Only one refund or exchange is allowed per order.
- Orders cannot be canceled once placed.
- No returns on sale items or gift cards.
Exchanges
The fastest way to get the item you want is to return the item you currently have and, once your return is accepted, place a new order for the replacement item.
European Union 14-Day Cooling-Off Period
If your order is shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without justification.
- Items must be unworn and unused.
- Items must have tags attached.
- Items must be in original packaging.
- A receipt or proof of purchase is required.
Refunds
We will notify you once your return has been received and inspected. If approved, your refund is issued within 10 business days, minus the 10% restocking fee and all shipping costs, as follows:
- Original Payment Method: Refunds to your original payment method are limited to a maximum of $200 per order.
- Gift Card: Any approved refund amount above $200 is issued as an Urban Modesty gift card.
- Gowns: Gowns can be exchanged or refunded to an Urban Modesty gift card only.
Please allow additional time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.
If more than 15 business days have passed since your refund was approved, please contact us at customercare@urbanmodesty.com.
